Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi stated that the Afghan President instead of hurling allegations against Pakistani ulema and religious scholars should take action against state clerics of Afghanistan who issue jehad decrees against Pakistan. Talking to visiting delegates of different religious sects here on Monday in Islamabad, Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi said that ulema and mashaykh of Pakistan have not only served the people of Pakistan but also the entire Muslim world in accordance of the teachings of Quran-o-Sunnah. Afghan President should take action against Afghan state clerics who use to make jehad decrees against Pakistan. Afghan President should take responsibility for action in Afghanistan against extremist religious Scholars instead of hurling accusations against clerics and mashaykh of Pakistan. Islamic code of life is not limited for any specific state or nation but serves the entire Muslim Ummah. Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi also asserted that he will expose the elements responsible for creating chaos on the pretext of “Finality of Prophethood Law” in the 28th January conference that will be held in aegis of Pakistan Ulema Council on Mall Road of Lahore.
Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi underlined that religious organizations, clerics and mashaykh of Pakistan are playing a key and vital role by issuing decrees to condemn extremism and terrorism and its the first time that the struggle of the ulemas and mashaykh have been acknowledged at a state level in Pakistan.
